People in the past have asked about obtaining chip insurance. I am not endorsing or recommending the following company even though I have my chips insured by them. The reason is, thank God, is that I never had a claim.

In any case, for a annual premium of $214.00 I have my collection insured for up to $100,000. An example of a lower premium for less coverage is $162.00 for a $56,000 valuation. Be sure to keep a current inventory of your collection. I have both a picture and listings of all my chips.

I also understand that some insurance companies will let you attach a rider to a current homeowners policy. I guess I should have checked this out as well, but didn't bother.
