I wonder how many of the $20 chips were made? To me this kind of situation is one of the pitfalls for California collectors. I'm sure you're right, probably few are in chip collectors hands at this moment. On the other hand it's quite possible that down the road someone will buy these chips from Larry A. Smith or even his heirs and the value will fall to below face. I wonder if any collectors bought the Crystal Park grand opening set of twelve $25 chips for face value of $300 and now are seeing them selling for a couple bucks each??
