I was the winner of a chip which cost me less than $5.00 (my typical large purchase.) The seller is from New Zealand and accepts credit cards.

Question. Am I jeopardizing myself if I pay by credit card? I mean, since he has my number, he could tap my account for any amount if he so wishes. Am I being too over cautious?
