The NY Metro Chapter had their regular semi-monthly meeting today. It was a very nice turn out, 25 to 30 chippers were there and we could barely fit everyone in our meeting room. Four new members signed up at the meeting. We had a very lively trading session with lots of trades and sales going on. Our meeting went longer than usual as there were many topics of the day to discuss. We had a civil discussion about the merits of slabbing casino chips and the emotional response to slabbing in the chip collecting community.

The members that were present voted:

1) AGAINST the proposed amendment, and
2) FOR the following CC>CC candidates:

President - Nate Pincus

Vice-President - Neal Silverman

Secretary - Marty Kaplan

Treasurer - David Shron

Membership Officer - Ralph Myers
3) To place a 1/2 page ad in the CC>CC Convention Program

Our next meeting is tentatively scheduled for Sunday, April 29th.
