It is a notched sample of a real chip.
Notched chips are made for two reasons.
To show a customer what his chip will look like.
A notched sample is taken to NV gaming for approval before it can be put on the tables.

I have over 500 notched chips.
I do not put a large value on any of them.

If they ever bring big money, people will figure out how to notch them. <g>
