Wow! Silly me to think anything could ever be simple with you twisting on it. Slot cards, and other casino collectibles not "CASINO CHIPS AND GAMING TOKENS" are currently not directly addressed by the charter of this club. Currently, they are peripherally related to the primary activities of this club, in that chip and token collectors frequently are interested in other casino parahenalia. Nobody was suggesting Slot Card, Dice, or Ice Machine of the Year categories. But this is your typical diversionary tactic to throw something sideways into an issue you don't want to address head on. Likewise to be expected is a failure to read and understand the points being made, as witnessed by:

It assures them of a winner, where if left to the general populace of token collectors, perhaps such would not be the case. You suggested a poll asking whether strikes should be put back in the token category next year. I suggested the poll could offer a third choice of SSOTY, leaving them excluded from TOTY same as this year. You apparently missed that. Oh well. It's your poll. I have nothing to say about it.
