The object is to understand what I said and not react as did Andy.

I've mentioned nothing about Rene's show or what may or may not have taken place. In fact, have Andy forward you my response to his private e-mail to me where I said I know Gene well enough to believe him.

Please let's not get up in arms if I simply suggested that I like the thnking of the ANA where there are no Anti-signs, posters or pins.

Printed literature at the anti-slabbing table can be handed out both there and at dealers tables who wish to distribute such and we can still get the message across that we are against slabbing.

I feel the purpose of our convention is to promote our hobby and the exhibitors and dealers who set up.

I've not mentioned you, Andy or any one else for that matter...and Andy was totally out of place to assume what I was talking about.

I've said all this in a previous post, and it's not my problem that the index is not followed by some.

I feel that between now and the convention there will be a buildup of emotions between anti-slabbers and those who may favor slabbing. WE're only 10% of the membership, and we have no idea as to how an additional 40-50% may react when they learn of these current events.

I rather not see our convention floor be an arena of what's been taking place on this board, the club board and in private e-mails.
