You must have missed some of the posts on this board, Jim. Several want to prohibit selling, buying, or trading slabbed chips at the convention or in the magazine.

This is essentially prohibiting the collecting of these items if you want to stay a club member, as these venues are the principal way many members add to their collections.

Not a false issue at all, but to me, the key issue of all this controversy. No question the club has the right to do so; it would be foolish and destructive to exercise that right, however.
