>>"SILVER STRIKER" MEMBERS NO LONGER MUST BELONG TO THE CCGTCC
The board of CCGTCC voted to rescind the requirement that membership of any of the chapters must belong to the national organization. So from now on you can give out the enclosed application and the person can become a Silver Striker for only $10 per year and that's all the cost. Give them a choice and tell them of the national club. Help us grow! 230 plus members and adding more every week.<<
.....it's kinda ironic that one of the newest chapters of the CCGTCC would take advantage of the results of a battle fought and won by the oldest chapter, and do so in a manner that appears to discourage membership in the CCGTCC rather than promote it. The CCC continued to promote the CCGTCC even after our charter revocation. I can only describe what that newsletter annoucement did in two words; THAT SUCKS! I stand corrected on a chapter taking advantage of the bylaws revision. I'm still voting NO on the amendment, but for the same reasons that I've championed all along.
>>And how about another MEMBER's BUSINESS site that has MANY Collector links but does NOT include a link to the CLUB site, at:<<
........that's cheap shot. You might want to ask Allen when he last updated his links page. If it was when our chapter had it's chapter under revocation, removal of a link would be understandable. There are a few blank spaces where it looks like there used to be links.
