it is also about forcing down the collectors throats, a grading system that most don't like or approve of.

For clarity, I have posted the graphic here of the grading system that they ICG is forcing upon us.

BTW, I went to the Palace Station show to ask one question:

"Do you plan on doing silver strikes"

When their answer came back "YES" it's right up our alley since they are coins, I immediately went to the anti-slabbing table and put my name on the list.

I know that there are several silver strike collectors that would probably embrace slabbing, due to problems with minting these tokens provided for Anchor gaming.

I for one do not scrutinize the tokens much at all, especially when it comes to artifacts which happen during menting.

I am opposed to having my silver strikes slabbed and graded like coins are. If we believe it to be a Money grabbing situation, it is! FOR ICG!... I for one will put most tokens in my collection with out the scrutiny of ICG graders if it looks fine to me. On the other hand if the token has major tarnishing I may attempt to trade it in at the cage or cash it back in and try again.

Now as for my guide I stay with the one statement made in the guide:

"Listed Prices are for Mint Proof-like Tokens!"

I am a collector not an investor... Let someone else write their own guide with prices with ALL those grades they use... I for one will only list one price.

Ultimately, it will be the collector's decision to decide for themself what they want to pay for a particular token, that they can actually hold and look at, not one inside a hermetically sealed casket.
