When I joined this club about a year ago I noted the name was the Casino Chip and Gaming Token COLLECTORS Club.
During the past several months the major issue of discussion has been in regards to slabbing.
I signed the pledge for its something I believe in. I continue to believe in it and will continue to suppport the effort to my fullest.
I have yet to read ONE post that explains to me the benefit of chip slabbing.
This is merely a M O N E Y issue, MONEY MONEY MONEY.
I respect the people that sell chips for a living or even as a sideline. I respect the people that haven't signed the pledge because they do not wish to alienate friends or don't like the wording.
However the way I see it the only reason to be pro slabbing is because someone smells a big payday. Some of these people are already coming out of the woodwork.
If what I read is correct that a member or members of the current board wish to take action against members, LET ME BE THE FIRST.

Someone once said, The club needs members but the members don't need the club.
I have enjoyed this past year. I have met many people and have made many new friends. This is a hobby for me but if the idea is to change the name of the club to The Casino Chip and Gaming Token PROFITEERS Club do it without me.
