With all due respect. I would say that only, at most, 250 chippers follow this bulletin board and may be aware that the intent of the amendment is "one year". And not all of the 250 are members of the CC>CC. Since the current CC>CC membership is over 2,500, that leaves 90% or more of the membership with a possibly incorrect interpetation of the "Proposed Amendment". Since this issue is so important, I think that this issue should not be left open to individual interpetation. Instead, the "Proposed Amendment" should be fixed and then voted on.
