Not meaning to criticize Ron, though. I do not think $50 for the set is out of line. In fact, I just wrote a check for exactly that amount for this set from another collector. It was still cheaper than flying or driving from San Francisco to LAX, renting a car to drive to Hollywood Park and picking the chips up myself for "face".

To me, this is no different than a collector who makes a great "find", buys a rare chip for $1 at an antique show and sells it for $100 to someone who wants it. The real issue isn't how much "profit" the seller will make ("profit" is still not a bad word), but how much collectors are willing to pay for the chips.
