On the contrary, those who have signed the pledge have said only that THEY will not do business with those who support slabbing. It is a self-enforcing promise; that is, each person will have to decide for himself whether or not to abide by the pledge (particularly when faced with the temptation of a great chip in a slabbed condition).

I will save myself that temptation by simply declining to even look at whatever chips are being offered in slabs.

BTW, I have to say that I resent the reference to "Gestapo" tactics. No one is being forced to do anything about slabbing. Those who have signed the pledge have simply stated that they will use their economic influence by spending their money somewhere else rather than with a dealer who sells slabbed chips. Real simple. Freedom of choice & I choose:

NOT IN MY HOBBY. NOT ON MY WATCH. NOT WITHOUT A FIGHT.
