.....John, when did you first become aware that the Colorado chapter charter had been revoked due to non-compliance to membership requirements contained in the old bylaws?

I don't recall seeing any written notice in the club quarterly magazine. It was publicly announced well after the fact at the earlybird meeting at the 1999 convention, and the reason given then was "non-payment of dues" by the chapter. No mention was given to non-CCGTCC individual membership within the chapter. We in Colorado knew about the revocation for many months before the 1999 convention. ...yet we didn't quit promoting the CCGTCC and the hobby in general. The thanks we get is an amendment proposal to make sure that chapters like Colorado can't hope to promote the hobby at the local level on their own terms while still promoting the CCGTCC. Vote NO!
