I am worried. Some club members, with good intentions (and I sincerely mean it) have introduced an amendment that will potentially cost the club dearly.

Can we afford to make a rule that will alienate members? Is it really worth it? Are not the risks in forcing national membership upon fellow collectors greater then status quo? Isn't the national club working well now? Are we not growing membership?

For the life of me, I cannot imagine a scenario where this amendment will help the club.
