Both of these issues have become very emotional. I have not seen anyone change their position on either issue due to any reasoning presented on this board. It is time to move on and concentrate on the issues that unite us as collectors and put to bed the issues that divide us.

I do not want slabs in our hobby, but I would rather have them than lose one member, one friend.

I want chapters to be able to determine their own membership rules, but I would rather live with the proposed amendment than lose some of the wonderful friendships I have made in the hobby.

When it comes down to it, it is collecting the fosters friendships. If we were just in it for the chips and the tokens, this would not be the great hobby that it is. It is the friends that I have made in this hobby that I truly cherish, not the chips. Think about it. Which would hurt more? If you lost a chip or if you lost a friend?
