>>You don't give an inch. My side at least trys to arrange exceptions and accomodations, but not you.<<
We continued to actively promote membership in the CCGTCC EVEN AFTER our chapter charter was revoked. Not giving an inch?
Arranging for exceptions AFTER an amendment passes leaves us in the position of trying to convince the CCGTCC BOD that their new rule needs work. Does that sound like a good new rule to you? If its flawed, as you seem to be readily admitting with suggestions on how to get around it if it passes, it should have never been put to a vote with active support.
>>And all of this is in the face of the fact that throughout this country I don't know of any chapters where the members do not belong to the nationals<<
You haven't been paying attention. The Floridian chapter has members that don't belong to the CCGTC, as does the AC chapter, the NY Metro chapter. ...other than the Silver Strikers, and the Ohio Valley chapter, I could say with a relative amount of confidence that every chapter has a few members that don't belong to the CCGTCC and its been that way since before the bylaws change.
>>Let me also add that Colorado is a small place.<<
The Colorado chapter has the 3rd or 4th largest chapter membership of all of the chapters. We have over 130 current members.
>>I wonder if your chapter was originally some sort of debating club that enjoys all this.<<
The CCC started as a group of people who collected casino items. It is that today. While I can't personally speak for Allen, I HATE having to have these debates! Its the amendmend that you endorse that has me writing these words. The amendment is an attempt to fix a problem that doesn't exist.
