... this chip belongs to a friend of my daughter's boyfriend. Not for sale (unfortunately; the owner considers it a good luck charm when he plays), but thought some of you might find it interesting.

Anyone have any idea what it might be worth if it was for sale? <g>

It is an original issue $1 chip with a $5 inlay on one side. I looked very carefully and it does not appear to have been tampered with. The person who owns it got it on a blackjack table at the Mirage. When he saw what he had, he asked the dealer how much it was worth, $1 or $5. <g> I'll bet that was one surprised dealer (though he did say, without hesitation, $1).
