There was argument before the amendment was proposed. The whole thing was unnecessary to begin with. The CCGTCC doesn't need to micro-manage the chapters. If the amendment passes, it ain't black and white. Chapter officers will have to chose to lie about a few chapter members, openly defy the new rule, or tell a few friends that they are no longer members of the chapter. The CCC existed before the CCGTCC had rules governing chapters, and like Allen has said, if we are pushed into the corner that we were before, you're gonna lose a chapter again, just because some people felt there needed to be a rule to solve a problem that didn't exist.
