It is not just third parties. It is potential bidders that have questions. The answer will determine whether the is a bid or not. Delays mean no answer = no bid. Ebay does not seem to be willing to fix their bid, end of auction or overbid delay problems. I have complained about this several times. No fix yet. It keeps getting worse. I think it will be the same situation with the new procedure. Ebay will not fix that either unless they see a significant lose of business / income and many many complaints from sellers and bidders.
