Simple Gene, the problem is national promotes the hobby and the clubs promotes national.

I have never been to another chapters meeting and I cannot begin to guess what other chapters are like, but in Colorado we are friends, we come from all walks of life. We have a couple of millionaire members and many pensioners that live from one social security check to the next. Our members represent all creeds, races and religions. We get together on the 3rd Sunday of every month for one simple reason, we all collect something from casinos. Most of our members also belong to national, those that do not simply do not because national does not offer them anything of interest.

Do you really think our club should insist that some of it's members do something they don't want to do?

You see Gene, this issue invloves people, good people from all walks of life with thier own likes, dislikes beliefs and incomes. If national forces the Colorado club into a corner, we will support our members before we support an edict. Do we want to opt out of national, hell no... will we, you bet!
