Travis, as a member of the CCC, I'm currently not required to join the CCGTCC. As a member of the CCGTCC, I'm currently not required to be a member of the ANA.
If the ANA doesn't require CCGTCC members to be ANA members, why should the CCGTCC require CCC members to be CCGTCC members?
Keeping things the way they are now is the simplest way to do things. If I had to enforce CCGTCC memberships on the CCC, it would mean constant monitoring of every member's status with the CCGTCC. Your "guest" suggestion would have me
keeping a separate list of frequent "guests", both for myself as CCC Treasurer, and for Lindsey Stenneche, our Sargent-At-Arms, this on top of monitoring the CCGTCC status of our regular members. I barely have the time to do what I'm doing now as a club officer. Why make it more complicated and time consuming for the people who volunteer their time for these organizations?
Keep it simple, and keep our organizations as inclusive as possible!
Bob :-)
