>>Yes, it is a straw man I created to bring a point to the extreme as to why it is important for any one who truly is interested in the club to be part of the club.<<
Anyone who is truly interested in the club will join on their own.
The proposed constitutional amendment is aimed at fixing a problem that doesn't exist, period. While there might be one or two Fred B.'s in the Floridian chapter (isn't the result of the Superbowl still being contested, many people are seen wearing "The Giants WON" on the front and "Make My Vote Count!" on the back)<G>, there are NO Fred B.'s in the Colorado chapter.
It IS important that local chapters be given the flexability to include people who don't want to belong to the national organization by requirement. There really are people who have no want or need for membership in the CCGTCC. That won't keep me from promoting the CCGTCC to them. I just won't shove it down their throats as a requirement to attend a local meeting.
