Last night - once again - an unsuspecting chipper sent me an e-mail that was quarantined by Norton Anti-virus as being infected with a Kakworm virus. This kakworm appeared to be a different version than the other 2 versions that have been quarantined by my system NO LESS than 8 times since October. <sigh>

I KNOW this topic is getting old... I KNOW "we all know" the importance of current/ competent virus protection. It saddens me to admit this, BUT EVERY SINGLE INFECTED E_MAIL I have received has been from a chipper or through a chip related related sender from e-bay. (excluding the recent "hahahaha sender" - which I don't think we "know" for sure.... but that appears to be e-bay related as well.)

I have notified the sender, sent him links to assist him (at no charge) to clean his system and I have checked my own computer (again) to ensure my system is clear. New virus DATS are released DAILY in most cases... if you don't update - you are not protected. I am not "endorsing" Norton, but Norton updates for me automatically when I log in because there WILL BE DAYS I WILL FORGET.
