Thanks for reading through the rhetoric to find the real issue. This is one reason why I think you will make an excellent president of the CC>CC.

We have learned thoughout history that dictating policy is only a quick fix, eventually the will of the people will prevail. If you feel that the people are not aware of the real issues the call to action is to educate them, not to tell them what to do or force them into submission.

I am free to decide my position on chapter membership. Although I believe strongly about this issue, I will not impose my position on others. I did not say that I would do anything about the NY Metro Chapter's membership in the CC>CC should the amendment pass. I did say that if the amendment passed, I would ask the NY Metro Chapter's membership what they would like to do.
