I checked out a couple of my black ring chips and some turn out as you directed but I also have a couple after flipping I have to turn the chip 90 degrees for alignment. I know on my last trip I picked up both thin and thick lettered chips at the tables and prior to the return of the black chips they had only the grey ringed chips on the tables. I don't think I ever picked up the original 1st issue black ringed chips, because when they had those I don't think I was into collecting chips at that time.

I wish I would have saved a few when I was playing at the Playboy in AC or when I was at the Landmark in LV in the 70's.
