I guarantee you I'd ask why! ....and if the answer was "because its required", I'd ask why again! If the answer was "this organization is one you'll benefit from by being a member of it too", I'd ask how? After having that explained to me, I said "I'm not interested in that, I just want to get your newsletter or attend local meetings" and was told that I couldn't join the chapter under those circumstances, I'd walk away after saying "you people don't really want people to join your club, do you?"

There are true collectors that shouldn't be left out of this hobby, even if they have a year to think about joining the CCGTCC. The proposed amendment is a BAD idea.
