As with any scarce chip, the value is what is determined by a particular buyer and seller. It's not uncommon for the value they determine to be up or down 50% from a "book price". However, the price you mention is not unreasonable given the past sales history of this A.C. chip. One went for about that amount at a club auction 4-5 years ago.

Three from one seller is pretty scary, though. Must be a cocktail waitress <g>.

By the way, I don't have this one in my 2.50 collection and won't be adding it at anywhere near these prices.
