Ticked off...

Blame Wayne and me for the problem. We made the decision to let the SSC nominate and vote on the SOTY. Blaming anyone else is WRONG. I think our biggest mistake was placing the notation not to nominate Silver Strikes on the ballot.

I'm offended at the suggestion that things are being done to favor one group over another. The International Convention is for all members. All one has to do is make a request and if at all possible we will accomodate the request (within reason.)

All members, yes, even those who are members for only the day, can attend any sanctioned function during the convention. We have two events that for reasons that should be evident, have to be restricted to a certain number of participants, The Early Bird Dinner and the Poker Tournament. Otherwise, it's all open. Even chapter meetings.

Unfortunately, in a group the size of ours, we can't please everyone. We do the best we can, but ultimately a decision has to be made and someone is going to be unhappy. We accept that fact and accept the responsibility for being the ones making decisions having to do with Convention related issues; COTY/TOTY/SOTY included.
