vote for the amendment. I guess I don't understand what the issue is. Isn't a club chapter bound by the bylaws of the National club organization? Doesn't a club chapter reap the benefits of being associated with the National club? If so, it just doesn't make sense to me that if an individual is a member of a local club chapter, which is part of the National club organization, doesn't have to be a member of the National club organization. What am I missing? What is the real issue here?
As far as I am concerned, since a local chapter is by definition a part of the National, the members need to be members of the National. Otherwise, the chapter should start its own club (just like Charles suggested may occur if the amendment passes).
