The best way to destroy an enemy is to get him to destroy himself through infighting and watch him self destruct. Maybe the slabbers are smarter than we are.

I see the words hobby vs. industry bandied about. A hobby survives as long as it's fun. An industry survives as long as it's profitable. Are we having fun yet?

They say you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar. We need to educate people who don't know what slabbing is or why we don't want it. What do they learn when we whack them over the head with our anti-slabbing signs?

There's just plain way too much bitterness and hostility on this board lately. Anybody out there who takes personal offense at that statement, or anything else I've said here, PLEASE!!! Ask yourself why.

There's an old saying, "We have met the enemy and he it is us." All the suspicions and inuendos and snide comments are tearing us apart. I've seen this happen in neighborhood associations. When the meetings are filled with bickering and arguing, the people who joined because they thought it would be fun to get involved soon go home. Remember who the enemy is. Focus your energies at them. Please. Can't we all just get along?
