Charles,
The Board does not have the power to reverse an ammendment to the constitution voted on by the entire club membership. Reversal would require another ammendment and another vote by the CC>CC membership. Ammendments are different than bylaws and regulations that the Board can change by a majority vote of board members.
Here is Article Six of the CC>CC Constitution:
ARTICLE SIX: ALTERATIONS OR AMENDMENTS
Section 1
This Constitution may be altered or amended. Alterations or amendments shall be presented in
writing to the President who shall cause written notification to be provided to all members. Ballots
containing any proposed alteration or amendment of this Constitution shall be mailed to each
member at least 30 days prior to an election, and shall specify the procedure for casting ballots in
advance of the annual meeting. A two-thirds majority of those voting shall be required to amend.
Section 2
The Board of Directors shall have the power to make such prudential Bylaws and regulations as
they deem proper for the management and control of the business and affairs of the organization
not inconsistent with the laws of the State of New Jersey, and the Constitution of the United States.
Section 3
The Board of Directors is authorized to create regulations necessary for the organization to
conduct its educational and other functions, to conduct annual conventions with exhibits of a
competitive and non-competitive nature, and any other appropriate purposes.
