To be able to purchase a $5 chip at $2-3 over face, for me, is a real fair and sensible bargain.

Beyond all of the other expenses, the costs of travel, lodging, food, etc., would far outweigh the nominal fee.

It is impossible for all of us to be in all of these places to purchase all of the chips that are constantly being released. Imagine what that would cost!

I also feel that a city like Reno can and will support more than 1-2 chip service providers. I will buy from both Larry and Al, depending on what they are offering at the time. If someone else also offers chips, I will most likely buy from them too.

When I first started collecting I pretty much depended on one service in each city I collected from. Of course they were not able to provide me with all of the chips I wanted, so now I use whoever can get me those harder to get chips. At the same time I continue to deal with the original services. If someone treats me good, I stick with them.
