I will be taking the CASINO@LISTSERV.SYR.EDU down in a couple of days. I think it has served its original purpose but is not now necessary to maintain. When I began it this Board was just starting up; Prodigy chat line was going but losing members [non Prodigy folk could watch but not chat]; Chequers was great but not being used for messages with enough frequency and the Club board was not up and running. I felt that there were a lot of working stiffs who might have some problems with frequent access to the web but who could open e-mails without losing a good amount of productivity. But this Board has provided all of us with ready access to information (in addition to slabbing) on chips; offers of chips for trade or sale and all of the other information that CASINO might provide.
