I'm surprised (and grateful) at the number of people who have emailed me to ask if I'm going to take this abuse lying down. Anybody who doesn't think Paul's attack is directed at me doesn't know Paul. I just wanted to say, I have no problem with Al providing a Reno area chip service. As a matter of fact, if he's going to drive to Elko to fetch $5 chips to sell at $7, I'd like to sign up for his service!
I've worked very hard to stay up on new issues in this area and post them on the board when no one else has been providing this information. I've been offering a new issues service at what I believe are very fair prices when no one else has been offering a service for chips from this area at any price. My regular customers know I am always responsive, pack the chips very well, and always do my best to keep them supplied. If any one would now like to change providers to save 75¢ a chip, I only hope you will do me the courtesy of letting me know, so I can adjust my purchases accordingly.
As to Paul's accusations of "exorbitant prices" and "go on E-bay with them in order to line his own pockets at your expense," all I can say is, get a life. Frankly, I have a day job that pays the bills quite well, and if anybody thinks I'm getting rich on $3 a chip, I think they need to buy a vowel. It's a service I provide to my fellow collectors because I love this hobby. It DAMN sure ain't no get rich quick scheme! As for Paul's incessant venomous rantings in an effort to save 75¢ a chip, that's just, well, Paul. I guess there's worse things than being compared to Clinton, although I sure don't see the resemblance <g>!
