Like I said before, I would prefer a graded chip rather than one this is not for the RARE OR EXPENSIVE chips, I am not saying the this entire hobby should go to an all graded chip hobby. There are still people in the sportscard world whom do not prefer to have their cards graded, that is their choice however when they go to resell these items they will not get the full value of the item. This is also true in the coin market, I do collect some coins and also prefer that the items be graded to know for sure what an item is worth without having to have someone second guess that for me.
I do not want to offend anyone here on this website however just wanted to post my opinion. I know that not all people expect to invest in a item and would just rather collect an item for fun, I am doing the same thing however when I am ready to move on I would like to be able to sell my item for the highest price possible.
I would assume that if the chip market takes off for grading that the grading company will hire someone who has years of chip collecting experience.
