Slabbing is a great idea. In fact I am about to pour a concrete patio slab. Could save some cement if I fill some of the area with slabbed chips!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Isn't this how they got rid of a Union boss back in NY?) Course would make sure the concrete cover the chip slabs completely.
