...........spending the day at the Super Bowl Show. After the Show, Jim Reilly & I went to dinner & then played in the Friday night No-Limit Hold'em poker tournament at The Orleans. Out of 88 players Jim came in 10th! That means he will be searching for a chip to add to his collection in the $245 range tomorrow. <G> We then headed over to the Aladdin so I could show Jim the London Club. It was packed! Jim & I also talked to my friend there who is the swing shift manager & during the conversation he told me they have no plans for anymore $1 baccarat chips. On the way out I also saw a gentleman I know that is in security at the London Club & use to be at the D.I. I asked him (as I always do) if Kerry Packer had been in yet. He said he has been there twice in the last few months & from the smile on his face I have a feeling Packer left some money behind both trips. Jim & I also picked up some of the envelopes I have a scan of below.
As for the Super Bowl Show......As Gene said, Rene did a very good job. There were a lot of people there & it should be another great turnout on Saturday. There is no doubt that the two guys holding down the fort at the ICG table were uncomfortable no matter how much they were smiling. I'm sure Henry Garrett was uncomfortable towards the end of the Show today as well he should be. It's too bad lines have to be drawn in the sand this way, but that's the way it is. I will no longer buy any chips or do any business with Henry in the future. Andy - Las Vegas
