Kudos to Rene. YOU DID GOOD!

Anti-Slabbing table went well. We managed to get about 15 new list sign-ups.
Anti-Slabbing tent signs and wall signs were displayed at many dealer tables.
Anti-Slab buttons were passed out and worn. Marv should be here tomorrow with more.

I introduced myself to the slabbers. Why did I have the feeling they already knew who I was? They were very polite. I explained to them that I hoped to be their worst nightmare. They smiled. Their smiling pi**ed Andy off!

Good: Anti-slabbing signs were displayed at both tables accross from and the table right beside the "Slabbers Table".

BAD: One dealer displayed slabbed chips after being warned by many other dealers to not display them including two of the best known AC dealer/chippers. Shame on you Henry!!!!

Mark Shapiro: You devil You! Marc Shapiro had an idea that we should go together and buy one of the now infamous "Gregs Little Guy (That is now a much "bigger" little guy)T-Shirts, and present it to the slabbers. So I ponyed up thinking Marc would present it to them. Geeez, it was his idea! OH NO, his idea and with encouragement from Andy, I had to present it to them. I know better than to hang around these guys!!!!
Anyhow, the slabbers excepted the shirt with a smile. Andy was pi**ed again. I think he was expecting them to throw slabbed chips at me. Not sure how he could see them smil since Marc and him stood waaaaaaay back when I gave them the shirt. <g>

BTW, the 2 slabbers at the table were the two that joined the club. The boss (James Taylor) of ICG did not show up. You remember him, he's the one that posted on this board that they were entering our hobby wether we liked it or not!!!!

I picked up about 50 new chips (NONE ARE SLABBED). Also picked up 24 out of the 25 Mason Cards I ordered. Will start posting them as soon as I can.

GOOD NEWS: The Taylor Co (T-Mold & Harp Mold) and the Hunt & Co (Chain Mold) records purchase has been completed. The records are being put into book form and will be offered to us at a very reasonable price. The books will be numbered. I signed up for number 1. I will post the order form soon. Thank you Howard Herz.

I am not saying we did a great job but I got the feeling the slabbers were very un-confortable with our presence. There was very little activity at their table.
