The following notice was placed on Art Beckers BB today from Dennis Finn and I thought it was important to all the Silver Strike members out there.

"Hope to see you all at the Superbowl weekend Chip Show at Palace Station. Thanks Rene. FLAMINGO Las Vegas (no "Hilton") will be in the display boxes by tomorrow. Unknown how many older tokens still hanging around there. PLAZA and IMPERIAL PALACE $200 tokens are at Gaming for approval. Looks like mid-to-late February before they are in play. New program at RENO HILTON. Producing a series of 12, each limited to 1750 strikes, commemorating achievemants of the Millennium. January is "Flight" and should be in play imminently. February is "Auto", March "Computer" and April "Space". Strikes will say "Limited Edition 1750" FLAMINGO RENO will produce a Year of the Snake and a (unisex) Bowler. PIONEER Laughlin will change its current series to 2001. EL DORADO is producing a new $200 Brew Brothers for 2001-2002. IMPERIAL PALACE Las Vegas is adding a new series of four cars. NYNY will put a Fifth Anniversary in play by mid-February. Artwork is pending at CAESAR'S PALACE Las Vegas for the new $200 and the $40 Winged Victory". Should go to Gaming this week. Artwork has been signed and is pending approval for the EL CORTEZ (at least two, as many as five) and BARBARY COAST. Ditto the NEW FRONTIER (set of four). Finally, an old friend returns. ALADDIN will produce seven new strikes, with three machines. One will be for London Club (high-roller salon) and one for the Casino facade. Remaining five will be an Arabian Nights theme. This should keep us all busy for a while. Anchor has also produced a new design for the strike machines. It is on display and may be played (by all you junkies) in their business lobby on Pilot Road near the airport. Make sure you check out the silver strike display."
