I agree with the above two posts about official chip publications.

Why not start with something more modest? For those with lots of time on their hands, why not have someone start/edit an "official" Club glossery? Anytime anyone asks what a newbie, silver strike, inlay, insert, edge spot, edge, rim, hot-stamp, mold, crest and seal, EOM, TCR, TGT, limited edition, generic poker chip, rare (!?), etc. is, we can refer them to the generally accepted and competing definitions, if any, in the CCGTCC Glossery. Being on the internet, it could start small and build itself up over time and is easy to change, correct and update.....
