I personally don't like the idea of the club putting a seal of approval on books or anything else in the hobby. Something about it just doesn't sit well with me. I can't put my finger on what it is, but it just smells bad. Besides, I don't think TCR needs any help competing with the other guide. Competition is good for the collectors as both parties will strive even harder for perfection.

I also think the idea that a books author would attempt to pad their pockets by putting high values on chips so they could make more $$ when selling them is faulty. Remember, before a dealer can sell chips they must buy them.
