Chip Condition

I find that I really enjoy having a mixture of both mint condition and quite used chips in my collection. By having some of both, you have a better appreciation of the other, in my opinion. For instance, the older worn chips I have give me a better appreciation of the "mint" ones, and vice versa is exactly as true.

If I could snap my fingers and have every chip in my collection become absolutely mint with squared edges, perfect cross-hatching, razor sharp printing and features, etc. etc. - I wouldn't do it. It's the "history" angle.

I realize that mint condition chips are pricier (and with good reason), but subjectively, some old and faded ones are just as cool (and valuable) to me.

What do you think?
