Not exactly. The primary purpose of this board, as the name implies, is for collectors to have a place to get together and do the things necessary for them to enjoy the hobby. Many times that includes chatting with the friends they have made here about topics that have nothing to do with the hobby. That is perfectly acceptable as well. I do not censor this board, I rely on peer pressure for that purpose.

Several years ago when I started the board I did it so that all online chip, token, etc., collectors would have a common place to go. At that time here was a group on Compuserve and a group on Prodigy. There were also a hundred or more collectors on my email list that didn't belong to either group. I was looking for a way to let them all communicate in the same forum and this board is the result.
