3 continuous: United Kingdom (English Civil War, 1660s-last change of government), Switzerland (Swiss Confederacy goes back to the 1200s), Sweden (don't know how long Swedish monarchy has been around--long time though!)
2 "also-rans": Denmark & Netherlands (both monarchies are very old and continous, but both governments were interupted during WWII by German occupation)
