Yes I know I'm late with the eBay nosale news. Curious how a coin dealer offers a slabbed chip for sale without once mentioning IGC, Slab, or Grading. I mean, after all, a coin dealer would be very at ease with the nomenclature of this baloney. I would say that a coin dealer unfamiliar with chipping's quaint ways and high ethical commitment would surely blunder and start blathering about such features as the slab and IGC sample rating (see new relisting on eBay). Perhaps some grading rep gave this coin dealer the old "heads up" on this auction and told her not to mention any of the hot button terms. Hmmm? Sure would help slabbers worm their way into the hobby if they could show some sort of sales interest. Wonder what else this slick slab rep would be giving out to subvert the hobby. Free slab samples? Let's see... 10 of those on eBay at $9.99 a whack? How about free slab services too? Could be tempting to a coin dealer.
