** - A new themed resort area has been proposed for the Las

Vegas Strip. Design plans have been submitted to the County for

an oriental themed resort area called Dynastytown. The

"Chinatown" venue is planned for the west side of the South

Strip next to Warm Springs Road. It will include a number of hotel

casinos, the first being a 600 room hotel named for a recreation of

the Emperor's Forbidden City, with a 1200 slot casino and a

simulation of the Great Wall of China encircling the parking

structure
