Lord of the Rings is one of my favorite series as a literature teacher. If you haven't read it, be sure to read The Hobbit first; it sets the stage for the so-called triology. And it is on video, but not as a real movie; the characters are animated. Not for youth, like Harry Potter; this book is serious fantasy for adults. Enjoy!!
