Tempting as this might be, I'm exercising self-restraint here.

It will be interesting, though, to see the reaction to a chip that has actually been graded... that's a horse of a different color, as far as I'm concerned. Ebay might serve as a very visible yardstick as to the acceptance of slabbing... if enough dealers who are currently "sitting it out" waiting for the market to establish itself notice that those $8 chips aren't getting that much auction response at $18, they may think twice about the viability of their positions and join the cause.
